I've shared some of the random messages I see on Twitter regarding REALTORS® or real estate.
Often they've been funny, or inspiration for thoughts on communication, or used to point out why it's important to use Twitter. The message below illustrates the potential power of social media and social messaging to spread messages for spreading good news as well as bad. This is someone who is in the real estate industry but appears to have tried to sell his home by himself. It also appears he's now happy with his real estate agent.
"I was trying to sell house with no realtor for 5 months. No activity. List with agent on Wed & Fri we have serious interest. Get an agent!" David Christopher.

Jeff Turner aka respres

This is great to see, thanks! It looks like Dave Christopher is a Home Inspector. It's nice to get a public endorsement from a FSBO!
Thanks for sharing!
Jeff, This is interesting, I haven't used twitter to the max. I have really only used it to get information, I send direct messages when I have questions. Maybe I just haven't really figured out how to get more out of it.
Very interesting Jeff, I didn't understand twitter at first...now I really enjoy it. I like that I can also use it to link my AR posts now to Facebook & Myspace. This has allowed me to grow my SOI exponentially and update others instantly and effortlessly
I'm not really understanding Twitter yet, but am trying! Thanks for sharing this message!
Jeff,
Thanks for the post. I read a post recently on a twitter interface with Activerain. However, I must confess I am not a member, that is until now.
I really think I need to agree with that gentleman :) :)
That's what we like hearing!! Thanks Jeff!!
Thanks for sharing some good news, Jeff. (I'm I'm pleased to say I caught it from following you on Twitter)
I trust you retweeted and asked your followers to do the same?? Hmmmmmm???
Great advice. Always hire an experienced professional!

Hey Jeff, I just saw your Tweet, great news for REAs right from Twitter! God bless,
I haven't twittered yet. I keep saying I will. You're post is pushing me in that direction.
Looks like he finally did the right thing to get his house sold.
Jeff, Great tweet!! I, like so many others, can attest to the power of social networking.
LIsa... I'm going to bet it gets more views posting it here and linking this to twitter than retweeting it will. :)
That is a great message and a reminder about the growth of Twitter - am glad I stumbled across it from the rain and have been using it !
Now there's a tweet I'd like to see go 'round the world! I don't spend much time on Twitter, but some of it's pretty funny.
Great news, Jeff! Seems like folks do "get it" after the fact.
Jeff~I love Twitter...just read Jeremy Blanton's post about updating via my A|R Blog...how cool is that? BTW, it's good to know that owners are giving us a thumbs up...we work hard for our money (sounds a little like Tina Turner, huh?)
Here in my neck of the woods, we need to 'get a buyer.'
I have filtered on Twitter a few times for real estate related tweets - really interesting stuff if you take the time to look for it and USE IT! A little eavesdropping never hurt anyone, right?
Jeff - Consumer feed back is important to us all and general feedback is a road sing we should be aware of. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, all. Yes, I think the evesdropping is ok. You do have to be careful how you engage the consumer based on these searches, however.
Jeff, this is great information - Thanks for taking the time to share it. Have you considered letting us re-blog it? I'd love to share that with my local audience.
Hi Jeff,
I am on Twitter. I just don't know how to get to see others streams. Where can I read up on how to?
Twitter this and tweeter that - it's everywhere! Thanks Jeff - great blog to let the rest of us that aren't twittering know what's going on...
Good to know. I don't know how twitter but I am going to learn.
Thanks for the post.
Jeff, I enjoyed meeting you today. I did get on my twitter account this evening which was a step in the right twitter direction. Thanks for explaining to me how to make the real estate show video for my client; she will be so excited!!
Jeff
It's always good to see news like this. Hope to see more and Twitter becomes evem more mainstream.
Jeff
Great Post, Jeff. I have not gotten to use twitter yet but it is on my to-do list.
I really need to figure all that out - I struggle seeing the value of twitter - but have not explored all the possibilities
Great info. I am still learning about twitter and many other tools and media available to grow our business.
That's the kinda thing I LOVE to read :)
The more I read about twitter, the more things it can be used for keep popping up. I am amazed at the potential, and what people will tweet about next.
twitterazzi, I like that word its one you can wrap your tounge around. I get blank looks when asking do you Twitter
Actually registered on twitter last night. At first I thought, this isn't much. Then I read a few blogs from people who had great experiences with it and now I have changed my mind and will give it a chance. Thanks for the post!
Keep on bloggin'
I"m just getting on the twitter bandwagon, I feel late in the game, but better late than never. Whats great about reading these tutorials is that I will be able to get up to speed very quickly and implement a lot of valuable techniques to increase my blog readership.
I love seeing examples like this. It also shows how someone can use something like Twitter Search to keep up with keywords ot topics on Twitter.
Hello Jeff, great to hear that twitter is working for us............Have a wonderful week.
I am on Twitter but I still don't get it yet.
duh! wow......makes you wonder huh?
I am new to twitter and am just beginniing to relize it's full funcionality. thanks for sharing.
I AM on Twitter, but I need to learn more. Thanks for always having great information.
Loved the post ........ I've actually picked up two potential clients who found me on Twitter; one from a potential home buyer, another from an agent in another state.
It' salways nice to see an endorsement from a FSBO. It reinforces the need for using a professional especially in the current market.
