Overheard on Twitter: "Get An Agent"

I've shared some of the random messages I see on Twitter regarding REALTORS® or real estate.

Often they've been funny, or inspiration for thoughts on communication, or used to point out why it's important to use Twitter. The message below illustrates the potential power of social media and social messaging to spread messages for spreading good news as well as bad. This is someone who is in the real estate industry but appears to have tried to sell his home by himself. It also appears he's now happy with his real estate agent.

"I was trying to sell house with no realtor for 5 months. No activity. List with agent on Wed & Fri we have serious interest. Get an agent!" David Christopher.

Get An Agent.

This is great to see, thanks!  It looks like Dave Christopher is a Home Inspector.  It's nice to get a public endorsement from a FSBO!

Jeff, This is interesting,  I haven't used twitter to the max.  I have really only used it to get information, I send direct messages when I have questions.  Maybe I just haven't really figured out how to get more out of it.

Very interesting Jeff, I didn't understand twitter at first...now I really enjoy it.  I like that I can also use it to link my AR posts now to Facebook & Myspace.  This has allowed me to grow my SOI exponentially and update others instantly and effortlessly

LIsa... I'm going to bet it gets more views posting it here and linking this to twitter than retweeting it will. :)

Jeff~I love Twitter...just read Jeremy Blanton's post about updating via my A|R Blog...how cool is that? BTW, it's good to know that owners are giving us a thumbs up...we work hard for our money (sounds a little like Tina Turner, huh?)

I have filtered on Twitter a few times for real estate related tweets - really interesting stuff if you take the time to look for it and USE IT!  A little eavesdropping never hurt anyone, right?

Jeff - Consumer feed back is important to us all and general feedback is a road sing we should be aware of. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, all. Yes, I think the evesdropping is ok. You do have to be careful how you engage the consumer based on these searches, however.

I"m just getting on the twitter bandwagon, I feel late in the game, but better late than never.  Whats great about reading these tutorials is that I will be able to get up to speed very quickly and implement a lot of valuable techniques to increase my blog readership.
