Great ride early this morning.  Did you use the Action Mount?

Flickr's the coolest!! (You aren't so bad, either!)

This made me dizzy, you may have heard me said, I never ride roller coasters, this is WHY! But, another reason to put video in my arsenal. I am starting to use Flickr more and more. 

That's pretty good video presentation already, Jeff.

How large is the file, and how long to upload to Flickr, I wonder?

So are you heading to the roller coaster day after day?  I want your job Jeff.  I know you do a great job and great music too.

I just got back from the bathroom...that made me way too dizzy...I'm not very good with those rides:) great video Jeff!

Now this is seriously cool Jeff.  Off to Flickr to check out what I need to do.  I have a video that I played with & edited and haven't decided what direction to go for the hosting - this may be my answer.

That was great, watched it with my hands in the air!!  I belong to Flickr, but mostly search and download photos.  I need to move up in the world.  Baby steps for me, off to check it out!

How did you get away with having that thing on the coaster? Did the crew not see it? How did you hang on to it?

 

How did you manage to hold on to the camera the whole time?? That was AWESOME!!

On a second note How did you change the background on the page here??

That looks like so much fun. I love roller-coasters. You did very well hanging on to the camera. I would have dropped it for sure. ;-)

How easy or hard was it to work with this?  It looks great. I'm in the market for a new video camera for video tours and would love to get your opinion on the camera you used.

Oops, just got sick on my desk from the motion sickness.  I love the new look of your blog.  Us non-tekkie types will have to wait for your tutorial on how to do it.  I read Brad's blog but it was Greek to me.

That was cool! I dont go on roller coasters but I loved it... that was just a handheld point and click Kodak that did that? I need to find out more about Flickr as well. I am realizing that video is the new frontier that buyers are going to be expecting. Thanks for keeping us up to date..

"Oh yeah baby. Here we go". LOL! Wooo Hoooo! I love it. I took my camera on the rides with me, at the fair. And we have a ride like that at Sea World in Orlando. I love it when my feet are just hanging. My hubby and I LOVE roller coasters!

You know you're getting old when watching a video of a roller coaster makes your stomach do flip flops. :) Very nice.

Thanks for the information and video it seems to load quickly and good picture quality. I have been concerned going to video from still photos because of the people that do not have high speed access may have a problem with the size of the file?

Friends of ours were there last weekend - we'll be there in 2 weeks.  YEAH!  I haven't been to MM for 15 years or so.  It's going to be a blast!!

Jeff, thanks for the post and the ride.  I just love rollercoasters. 

The purpose for posting the video was to show the quality of the video compression at Flickr and to show that their embedded player has ZERO branding! So it won't distract from your own brand.

Jeff, this was great.  Ninja is our favorite coaster at six flags.  In our elder years we can't take the radical rides anymore...the heads and hearts that is.  FUN!

Whoa Jeff!  I am waaaaay dizzy now... Two questions:

1.  How did you hold the camera so steady?

2.  How did you add music to the video?  An add'l software program or does Flickr make it easy to do that?

 Thats as close as I am getting to a roller coaster.  My daughter thinks they are so cool but I'll keep my feet on the ground thank you!  Good video nonetheless!

When I got myself logged in to Flickr I discovered we can only post vids if we pay $29.95 I think.

They are also only allow 90 seconds of vid...
