I Happened On An Interesting Comment A Few Moments Ago
I was searching for the term "real estate" in Terraminds, which is a Twitter search tool, and found the following "tweet."
"YEAH, my real estate agent Angie joined twitter! We love our house btw Angie!"
The statement was made by discorax, whose bio says he is in WebDev Design. Here's a consumer who is obviously tech savvy and as you can see by his expression on Twitter above, he likes the fact that his real estate agent is connected to him in the way he wants to be connected with.
The real estate agent, Angie Bondurant, signed up for her Twitter account less than one day ago and is only following discorax. That's not the point. I don't know if she'll ever follow anyone else. I also have no idea if she understood what she was signing up for, but it appears she certainly understood one thing... how to communicate with her client in the way he wanted to be communicated with.
If Angie is smart, she'll continue communicating with him that way.

The more the merry-er. Is that how you would write that. Not sure, one thing that I certainly am sure of is. I will be checking out this Twitter tweet thing. 8)
Celeste... :)
Bill... I think Twitter is a B2B tool at this point, at least for me. I stopped using it for a bit, because I couldn't see the B2C connection for the real estate agent. But Teri Lussier has already has some success hooking up with live human beings... and in this case, the consumer influenced the real estate agent to join. Very interesting to me.
Rob... lots to learn, lots of changes to come.
Chris... it's no different than calling a client who doesn't have email.
John... you should assume everyone can see your twitters.
Jay and Ana... approach Twitter as a way to share ideas. Follow a few people, watch, then comment or share as you see fit. Thee are no rules.
NO I won't Twitter, NO I won't Twitter, NO I won't Twitter,NO I won't Twitter,NO I won't Twitter,NO I won't Twitter,NO I won't Twitter,NO I won't Twitter,NO I won't Twitter,NO I won't Twitter,NO I won't Twitter,NO I won't Twitter,NO I won't Twitter
Unless a client asked me too.
I like Twitter because Jeff Turner just told me he's looking at my email suggestions, and I told him YAY I'm working on a comment to him. As if we needed to know what we were doing RIGHT NOW, but we do. :o)
I also like that some of my favorite AR people Twit and so far no one has thrown a sheep at me.
But now that I've said that I will be looking out for them.
I'm just getting to understand twitter better - I'm still a little confused
BUT if buyers and sellers can find me there than it's a good thing -
I don't think I need to try everything out there...but great information just the same, thanks!
Hey Jeff, Been Twittering a lot since hooking up with NAYMZ. Cool tool for as you say "brain dumping". LOL Cool

Am so behind on some of this outside tech stuff. Really bogged down with both blogs, and setting up for next year. Who would be good to put together what we likely should have in place, but don't?
best
Jeff,
I started reading this post early this afternoon. It has taken 7 hours to comment. I got sidetracked with the Twitter and Naymz stuff - and it's all your fault! LOL
Why can't I resist this stuff? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Jeff,
One more thing to get up to speed on. Thanks...I think.
I had to turn off my phone notifications on twitter yesterday. I can't afford that many text messages, and I think half of them were Zebra's! By the way, "poke fiend"? LOL!
I couldn't begin to keep up with all of these forms of communication! The list just keeps getting longer...
Okay Jeff, I'm twittering away...can twitter from my phone, but no twitters coming TO said phone. Working on it...I'm already addicted... ;)
Cheers,
Heather
Jeff, thanks for the reminder. I read something a month or so ago along the same lines: if your clients prefer texting, then text them; if they prefer e-mail, then e-mail them; if they prefer old-fashioned phone calls, call away!

Hi Jeff, I found this to be a very interesting tool and will try and use it more. I live and work near Microsoft and the tech belt and feel keeping up with the latest in trends and client connection techniques is crutial to stay current with where your clients go. Thanks!
I like the idea. I'm a little concerned of how many different ways some people are choosing to communicate. For myself, I think I just need to find one or two that work for my clients and run with them.
This is an interesting option though!
Jeff,
Thanks for all the helpful information. I am going to join twitter right now!
Jeff, Thanks for your insight. I'm new to Twitter and AR. I totally get AR but Twitter was a little foggy. The light bulb just went off in my head! It's all about connecting to people in a way they are familiar with.
Jeff, Thanks for the good info. I need to get back to signing in on Twitter. Connecting, connecting, connecting.
