Alexander, Brian, Scott, Laurie, Rich, Sharon & Kristal... warm wishes for a wonderful day. It's 5:45am in Los Angeles and this is my favorite time. Those moments before the kids wake up. I remember when I was a kid, the anticipation of Christmas morning was so powerful. Now, as a parent, the anticipation of their smiles and laughter is just as powerful. I hope your morning is as filled with joy as mine is going to be!

We spent time with my son and his family last evening at his home .. my granddaughter is now 6 and it seems only yesterday that my son was that age. He reminded us of several things that happened while he was growing up which I'd forgotten. Aaah... life is GOOD.

Yeah, you got some serious issues. : ) You were able to watch it before, are you on the same computer?

My computer is all messed up. I have no idea what is causing it. Norton keeps shutting down. I have to keep turning it back on. I will work on it on Monday. Must get to the bottom of this. It is very weird. I keep resetting things and when I go back my changes are gone. I am mystified at this point. Must be time to cut a check to someone who can help me figure all this out. :) TLW...ROAR!

I wish it were a Mac, I could help you out... but then again, I probably wouldn't need to. :)  Sorry, personal bias. PC's are finicky and norton causes lots of issues. I've read the NOD32 is a good antivirus and it doesn't cause as much grief.

I have been running Norton for years on all of my puters and swore by it, only had a few problems.  I have super techie guy taking care of all of that now.  He has installed AVG which is FREE believe it or not.  Have been running it along side of Norton for about 8 months now and not a single problem.  Norton subscribtions are all coming up in January and we are dropping it.  AVG is awesome.

I just went through a round of laptop nightmares with my favoritest puter, my double wide HP laptop/media edition, which is a dreamboat most of the time, I wanted to cry.

I don't waste time anymore, when I hae puter probs I call super techie guy to the rescue.

Thank you both for your help. It's time for a new laptop. But I will have to wait a few weeks for that. In the meantime I am going to download AVG. I am also going to find myself a techie. What are you talking about... it's now 3:38 AM in Los Angeles and my party just officially ended about 5 minutes ago. That was one very long poker game. You'll be happy to know I won our little Texas Hold 'em match tonight. I think it's because the rest of the table was drinking like fish and I just had one tumbler of Gentleman Jack on ice. That's why I'm still awake. And what do I do before I go to bed, check email and AR. I'm not sure if it's sad, sick or dedicated. But it's probably NOT the "D" word. 

I am still trying to choose between sad or sick. SVW. Did you win any money or are you stuck with chips? :) Playing poker with the gurgling fish should have reeped you some cash. :) TLW...ROAR!

Oh, now I just love Texas Hold em.  I play on www.pogo.com, tables seat six, no real cash, win points, lottsa fun tho.

Laurie and TLW, the Neighborhood New Year's Eve party is the one time during the year that our family oriented neighborhood breaks loose and lets its hair down. So, we play poker with for real money. We drink real booze. And the wives act as stupid as the men. See Rocky's blog post this morning for her antics. The kids are now napping and soon I will be too. As I get older, having fun is just exhausting. : )

Glad to know you used cash instead of the chips. Tell "The Rock" that I left her a comment in "The Hood". I understand that whole having fun being exhausting. I have fun a few times a year and it takes me two days to recuperate. Have a wonderful NAP. :) TLW...ROAR!
