thanks for the tear my friend - you know how I feel.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
(btw - that black background with no light was Kickin'!!)
Jeff - That was a rockin' video! The effect was stunning. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! You have drug me into technology I had never even heard about and just look...I can do it! Thanks, Jeff!
Jeff, what a sensitive and touching message. So much more shows through a video than in a photo. Happy Thanksgiving to you, your family and everyone here on AR. We are blessed to live in such a wonderful country.......and such a time as this.
Jeff,
You, my friend, are one amazing person. Thank you for your video, your contributions and your talents.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Rocky and the family. May God bless you all.
Have a great Thanksgiving Jeff. I am blessed that you put together such a great product that has helped my business grow and then in the meantime I get to know you and Rocky. You two are such wonderful people and through your words and actions Mike and I got to know and learn more than just a great product for my business.
Not too many people run a customer service department like you Jeff!
An aside: It's odd to see how everyone interpreted the background. I saw you as the "all knowing wizard of Oz"
"There's no place like home"
Jeff, Right back at you! You should know that you reach so many people that you don't realize. It really is like a pebble dropped in a pond. You and the things you do cause great ripples!
THANKS FOR YOU!
Happy Thanksgiving Jeff, Rocky and family.
The video reminded me of Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now....without "the horror". Very cool!
{SVW Hubba)...
I only have a minute or two before our day of serving the homeless begins.
I have taken that moment to acknowledge that in spite of everything that is and has gone on I am still blessed.
Thank you for all you have done and all you will continue to do. My love to you, the Rock and all of the idgets :)
Have a wonderful day and we'll chat soon.
P.S. You were one of those there blessings in disguise. I'll leave it that :)
TLW...ROAR!
Jeff,
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
I hope you have a wonderful Holiday,
Tom Weiss
Dear Jeff, Rocky, "crowd of children", and all you Activerainers,
Thank you for the wonderful video message. If you are reading this message on Thanksgiving, move your mouse over to the "close" button and click. Read this on Friday.
I am waiting at the train station waiting for my brother to arrive. He has his own issues and never had a family of his own. Thanksgiving is one of the days he comes to visit and enjoys ours. As I sit and think about the choices we all make. The broker's wife with her homeless diners, the woman at MORe who spends most of today organizing donations of gifts to needy children, or Rocky's efforts every day. We all choose to be engaged, to make a difference in the lives of others. At the risk of sounding pious or fawning, I am impressed and humbled to know you guys. Now I know we know each other as somewhat distant contacts, but the messages I have received on Activerain have sometimes touched my heart.
For a jaded political animal, that is a feat. At first I assumed that agents were just wearing there hearts on their sleeves to garner business. Nothing wrong with that, this is America and all's fair. But over the months I've been participating in Activerain I've come to understand how deeply committed people are to their causes.
For my wife Jenifer and I, we support the Eastern Social Welfare Agency and LifeLink International for their tireless work on behalf of orphaned children in Korea. We do what we can, we hope to do more, but your stories and experiences give us strenght to do our best.
The train pulled in. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Jeff Merrinette
Thanks to you for being such a truly wonderful influence to so many here in the Rain. Many blessings to you and yours for a Happy Thanksgiving!
Lisa & Bob
Jeff, your presence and your contributions here are something to be thankful for!
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Jeff, what a lovely tribute. I too, would like to thank you and the others here on Active Rain for the privilege of blogging with such great folks. I don't really have a lot to offer anyone as so many seem to but it has been a thrill to be in a group that is so overwhelmingly generous and accepting.
I used one of your videos to say thanks to the AR gods and wish them all a Happy Thanksgiving. I think we are all so very lucky that these guys came up with Active Rain and gave us each this vehicle to learn and experience each other. I also want to thank you, Jeff for being here and introducing the real estate shows to us so that we can better communicate on-line.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.
Jeff, great Thanksgiving Video! Thank you! I too have begun to use the web cam in 2007 thanks to one of the members here on Active Rain, Henry Delangelo who is from Fairfield, Connecticut as well. By emailing my clients a vdeo repsonse to their questions/concerns, it makes it more personable. Jeff, you are a great asset to this community and it is a pleasure to be able to say that I am part of the same community as you. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family from me and my family! Sorry, I didn't put together a video but just a quick picture that I edited just to use in my quick active rain blog.
Jeff, Rocky, & Kidlets,
What a touching video and message! Thank you!
Jeff, you taught me so much... although I don't seem to find time to apply your teachings. You and your family have significantly impacted the world and bring joy to many. I am soooo fortunate to have met you.
Also, the happiest of Thanksgiving wishes to my Active Rain family!
Enjoy your day!
Happy Thanksgiving to you also!!
Even though Thanksgiving has already passed here in Canada, I want to thank Jeff for that wonderful post and wish you and your families a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. There is something about this time of the year that really puts things into perspective. I am also very thankful for the people that I have met through this blogging medium and the friendships that I have made.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
happy thanksgiving Jeff - as a fellow Mac user, I've learned so much from you - it's amazing...

It was good to see you last week at NAR.
Enjoy the Holidays they are a time to reflect on why we do what we do and with whom we do it.
Hi Jeff,
For some reason I am unable to view your video. I hope your day was wonderfully Blessed.
Thank you Jeff for such a heart warming video. The feeling is mutual. I have learned so much, and met so many wonderful people here.
I hope you, Rocky and the kids had a great holiday.
Hi Jeff - I've tried several times but have been unable to get your video to play. A little error message keeps showing that says 'embed'. Not sure how to work around that.
In any event, I hope you all had a very nice Thanksgiving yesterday!
Ann

I am thankful for so many things. My son came back from Iraq and all my kids (5) were with us this Thanksgiving. We indeed are blessed with so much, it's true.

This video embodies all that Thanksgiving is about. It is from Maj. Robert Morgan, in western Iraq. His son's preschool class sent care packages, 11 of them, to the guys at Al Q'aim. Robert said the goodies brightened the Thanksgiving Day for as many as 200 Marines.
Jeff, it has been a pleasure getting to know you. I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to meet you, and so many others here at AR. I do regret not having the chance to meet you in person yet :)
May your season be joyous.
